Rotary Club awards an up-and-coming Jazz performer or group with
a plaque and scholarship in memory of Mitch Mitchell.

Quincy's new cd is finally out. He is having a cd release party on Sunday, Aug. 22, 7 pm, at Annex Live (296 Brunswick, at Bloor).
Quincy has finally released his new cd, 'On Q'. It will be available on CDBaby and ITunes shortly. The cd is mostly a collection of originals by Quincy, with some of the tunes written in colaboration with his father, Eddie Bullen. Quincy plays keys on all the tracks and has many wonderful players with him including, Larnell Lewis on drums, Alex Toth on bass, Andrew Stewart on bass, Lucian Gray on guitar, Rob Christian on sax and flute.
Quincy performed for three nights during the Beaches Jazz Festival Streetfest to huge crowds. He was joined by his father Eddie and other special guests, including wonderful soul singer Glen Ricketts.
For the second year in a row, Quincy was the host of the Beaches Jazz Festival Youth Initiatives Youth Stage at Woodbine Park. Over 75 young musicians were featured on the Youth Stage.

March 2010 Quincy will be playing a regular piano gig at Harlem Underground, (745 Queen St. West)
every Tues. and Thurs. Come on out and enjoy some fantastic southern cooking and some cool jazz!

Quincy had a fantastic weekend performing at the Beaches Jazz Festival Streetfest! The crowds were huge.
Quincy will be hosting the Youth Stage at the Beaches International Jazz Festival Woodbine Park.
FREE concert tonight (Fri. July 3)!! Come to the Unionville Bandstand (Unionville Main St. at Fred Varley Drive) for a free Quincy Bullen/Rob Christian Concert. Starts at 7pm. With special guests!
Come down to the Dominion on Queen tonight (Thur. July 2) to see Quincy and Friends perfom as part of the Toronto Jazz Festival!!! Quincy will be joined by singer Jenna Glatt, drummer Larnell Lewis, bassist Alex Toth, Rob Christian on sax and others. (500 Queen St. East, Toronto, 8:30pm, $10 cover)

The boys will be performing up at Wasaga beach this week to promote the Wasaga Beach Festival (Aug. 25-26). They
will be filmed for Rogers Television and have an interview scheduled at a Collingwood radio station.

The CD release party at the Trane Studio was a huge success! It was totally sold out, standing room only. The Quintessential Boys performance was fantastic. The very vocal, all-ages audience showed their appreciation after each song, with cheers and loud applause! It was a great party! To everyone's delight, Juno nominated jazz singer Molly Johnson, with her children, came to the show!
